Basia & Janusz Wedding | Lisgar Gardens

We recently shot the lovely Garden Wedding of Basia and Janusz. When we had met Basia in the lead up to the wedding she had told us about her dream wedding a beautiful green elfin inspired affair, and they had chosen the perfect wedding venue, Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby. After a lovely wedding ceremony in the pavilion, we  strolled through the gardens for photos and the bridal party even set up a little picnic

The wedding reception was held in a fabulously decorated marquee at Basia’s parents house, preceded by the traditional Polish offering of bread, salt and vodka. Apparently there should be one shot of vodka and one shot of water and whoever picks the vodka will be ‘the boss’ in the marriage but from the expressions on their faces we think they both got vodka
