Vicky & Paul Wedding | St Mary’s Catholic Church North Sydney | Waters Edge

Looking through the viewfinder of my camera, I got a lump in my throat. And this happened numerous times on Vicky and Paul’s wedding day. While documenting their day, the love of family and friends really shone through. And this was just beautiful and was a pleasure to be apart of.

We met up with Abraham Joffe’s crew and joined the groom Paul and his groomsmen for some fishing on the harbour. Not your typical groom preparation, but we just loved it! What a way to start the day! From there we went to the girls place where Vicky and her family were getting ready… and she has a big family lol. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in North Sydney which is a gorgeous church located just opposite North Sydney Oval.

The reception was held at Waters Edge, where they really celebrated the evening. Vicky is of Lebanese heritage and one thing I love about the Lebanese culture is how they celebrate the wedding day. Once the bridal party is announced into the room there is dancing immediately with drums and traditional music and it is such a wonderful way to start the evening and gets the guests into the mood and celebration.

Here is the Bridal shoot that we recently did with Yvonne & Alex in beautiful sunny Brisbane… well there were actually storms and floods in the city the day before, but it fined up for us. We shot their wedding earlier this year in Sydney, which you can check out here. They now live in Brisbane and we were so excited to catch up with them again and shoot around their new hometown.

Just back from a quick trip to Brisbane where we did a Bridal shoot with one of our former Brides. Brisbane has some wonderful wedding photography locations, so it was great to have a little play in some different surroundings. And we shot in just a small area… there was so much more I wanted to explore. We’ll post the shoot in the next week or so.

Laila & Walied Wedding | Curzon Hall

We just had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Laila and Walied in Sydney recently. It was a slightly different format in that we did the location photography before the ceremony. Which is really a great way to run the day, because it means that straight after the ceremony the party can begin.

So after we did some preparation shots at their place we headed off to Parramatta Lake for some photos before heading over to their ceremony and reception venue, Curzon Hall.

Suzie & George travelled from Dubai to have their pre wedding photos done by us. They are Aussie’s living and working in Dubai but all their friends and family are here. And we’ll be doing their wedding photography in Sydney later in the year

We met them in the city and just went for a walk around the city. I love doing this because there are no set photos we have to take, we just explore, play and get creative. Then we headed over to North Sydney for some photos on the water.

Suzie & George, it was so great shooting with you and we can’t wait to see you guys again to shoot your wedding. See you soon
