Joanne & Rahul were a wonderful wedding couple that came down from Brisbane to get married in Sydney. They had a two day wedding, with the first day being primarily an Indian ceremony and the second day being a more traditional western wedding day. They were actually clients of fellow photographer Michal Kriesch. He couldn’t cover the Saturday wedding and I was already booked for the Friday, so it worked out well for both of usYou can see some of Michals photos from the Indian ceremony here.

I met the girls at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth where they had just finished their hair and makeup. Joanne looked gorgeous and was ready nice and early, so it allowed us to have a wonder around the beautiful five star hotel… they have a wonderful, opulent looking foyer. And five star hotels always have great lighting and decorations which make it wonderful for wedding photography.

The wedding ceremony was held at St Paul of the Cross Catholic Parish of Dulwich Hill. After the ceremony we headed into the city for some wedding photos before heading over to the Stamford Grand at North Ryde for the wedding reception.
