Jack & Saffron Wedding | St Peters Chanel Hunters Hill | Le Montage

Photography: Cavanagh Photography

Ceremony: St Peter’s Chanel Hunters Hill

Reception: Le Montage

Jack and Saffron were a wonderful couple who’s wedding was a mixture of their Lebanese and New Zealand cultures. We started off the day with the boys at Jack’s parents place, who proudly showed us all their families wedding photos. And I love the photo I took of them holding their own photo, of their wedding many years ago. Jack… who I must say looks a lot like Andy Garcia… is one of the only grooms who can actually tie a bow tie. Everyone was so relaxed and easy going and at was fantastic to view how excited everyone was about the day.

We next visited the girls at Jack & Saffrons place and did some bridal preparation coverage before heading over to St Peter’s Chanel at Hunters Hill for the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony we did family and group photos before taking a water taxi to one of Sydney’s harbour islands for the wedding location shoot. Water taxi must we one of the best ways to get around Sydney… no traffic, and a really great experience to have on your wedding day! So after a glass of champagne, we shot around the harbour island before taking the water taxi again straight to the wedding reception venue of Le Montage. Where Jack and Saffron had arranged a cocktail party instead of the traditional sit down dinner, which really allows guest to mingle and have fun.

Jack & Saffron, it was an absolute pleasure capturing your wedding day celebrations. Thank you for trusting us to capture your wedding and for being so wonderful to work with.

Brianna Phelan - The shot of him picking her up in the empty building is gorgeous. Gorgeous. I love your use of lighting. And the detail shots are beautiful.
