Entering photography awards is a really nerve-wracking experience for me. You shoot a bunch of weddings and then you look through your portfolio for a few images that you think might do well. You get them printed on the right paper… get them printed again because you chose the wrong paper… and get them properly…
A while back, I entered a few images into the 2010 International Aperture Awards, wedding category, and I was lucky enough to get three silvers and one bronze award.
