Erin & Mark Wedding | Tallavera Grove Hunter Valley

It’s not often rain is welcome on a wedding day… but for Erin & Mark’s Hunter Valley wedding, the mist and light drizzle added to the stunning location. The whole day was at the gorgeous Tallavera Grove in the Hunter Valley, which thanks to the plentiful rain of late, is a beautiful lush green. With a french provincial theme to this country wedding, Bistro Molines was a wonderful fit. The day was all about close friends and family, enjoying magnificent food and wine.

We recently headed up to the Hunter Valley for the wedding of Michelle & Chris. Chris is actually a photographer himself, and has also embarked on his own 365 photography project. So check it out.

They both got ready at the beautiful and huge Cypress Lake Resort. They were just a few rooms apart which made preparation photos really convenient. Set amongst the vines, both the ceremony and reception where held at the Hunter Valley winery, IronBark Hill Vineyard.

For location we spent some time wondering through the wonderful Hunter Valley Gardens, with gorgeous oriental, formal and a whimsical storybook themed gardens.

A bath tub in the woods… very cool! As a Sydney based wedding photographer it’s really nice to find new and unusual locations. One such place is Billabong Moon located on Hermitage Road in the Hunter Valley. They have five cottages set amongst the bush and it is a really unique and wonderful location for wedding & bridal photography. So for any brides getting married in the Hunter Valley, this is a great place for cool preparation photos.
