We have seen a lot of wedding cars. We have seen beautiful cars run by a teams of professionals but we have also seen cars breakdown, the wrong cars delivered on the day and some questionable presentation and service. We have even seen cars not show up and we had to drive the couple to the ceremony ourselves!! So how does a couple know that they are going to get what they pay for?
So we asked Peter from Wedding Cars of Distinction, if he had any advice for couples looking for Wedding Cars, and here are his tips.
Top Tips for Choosing Wedding Cars:
1. There is a large variety of Wedding Car styles out there, so narrow down your selection. Do you favour the traditional Classic or Vintage vehicles? Do Muscle Cars interest you? Or would you rather a modern Stretch Limousine?
2. Inspect the vehicles. Are they in pristine condition, inside and out? Do they suit your wedding style? Are they easy to get in and out of? Do they have air-conditioning?
3. Price is an important factor but always remember that a cheaper price does not always reflect equal value. It is a good idea to ask what is included in the price. What complimentary services and supplies are offered.
4. Ask your friends who they used and whether they would recommend them.
5. Ensure that the company is professional and can provide evidence of registration with the Ministry of Transport and Private Hire Car Association.
