Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens | Dandenong Ranges Victoria

If we were going to get married again… to each other of course… this place would have to be on the short-list of places to get married. It’s a cool little lake and manicured garden set in the Alfred Nicolas Memorial Gardens. We just stumbled upon the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens while exploring the Dandenong Ranges while in Victoria. And it is one of the most beautiful gardens we have seen. Check out the photos below and imagine having a wedding there.

Here is the blurb from their website:

“The Alfred Nicholas Gardens is one of the most beautiful Gardens in the Mt Dandenong region near Melbourne and can provide the perfect photographic surroundings for your special day.

Alfred Nicholas Gardens is known for its extensive water features including waterfalls cascading down stone walls, set in a picturesque backdrop of towering mountain ash trees.

The gardens offer an ornamental lake with its own boathouse and two wooden foot bridges leading to two small islands, creating a very memorable setting.

During Autumn the garden provides us with a palette of rich and vibrant colour, while Spring creates another wonderland with flowering azaleas, cherry trees and viburnam.”
