Amelia & Mark Wedding | Mont St Angelo North Sydney | Sergeants Mess

Amelia & Mark are an amazingly cool, friendly couple we recently had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of. Mark and the boys got ready a his parents house which had a large amount of land attached. And whilst it had lovely gardens around the house much to Mark’s mum’s dismay we took them out to the very back paddock which wasn’t tended and was mostly long grass… which is awesome for that country feel 🙂

Amelia the girls were nearby and they were super organised with all the dresses and details beautifully laid out for our arrival. It was a great chilled atmosphere… although when the time came for the gorgeous Vera Wang dress to go on, the tears started flowing and they appeared again a few times throughout the day.

The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful Monte St Angelo Chapel North Sydney. One of the great things about winter weddings is that you get to capture amazing sunsets on location that would normally not happen until well into reception during summer. We headed to Bradley’s Head which was on the way to the wedding reception at Sergeants Mess Chowder Bay for stunning views back to the city and of the harbour making the most of the perfect light. Then the party continued at Sergeants Mess which is a elegant chic wedding reception venue which suited Amelia and Mark’s style entirely.
