We don’t normally get up early in the morning as we are more like night owls. But I thought I’d share a photo we took on a freezing winters morning. We woke up just before 6am to this glorious sight. It made me want to get up for more winter sunrises… it was just beautiful, still and timeless… but then I saw the ice all over our car windows and the blue colour in my fingertips.

Just got the results from the 8×10 (second half) WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) in the USA and I am happy to say that we received our best results so far. The top image won third place, while to bottom two images received Accolades of Excellence 🙂

This photo is amazing!!! I would definitely mount and hang it! I love everything about it. You are a talented photographer. It’s still pretty warm here in Delaware and even during the winter, I don’t get shots like this. Priceless.
